Click N' Sniff Web Scent Technology
Top 10 reasons why you may not be smelling the coffee aroma:
10. Bill Gates has not stolen the technology yet so it only works on Macs.
9. Your internet connection is too slow to deliver a high-resolution scent.
8. You should have listened to your mother; instead of going blind, you must
have lost your sense of smell.
7. Try disabling your pop-up blocker to allow the scent to come through.
6. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of RealPlayer.
WebScent is only available on versions 10 and above.
5. Did you know that your company may monitor internet usage? Should
you really be trying to do this at the office?
4. In order to enable this function, you must email this web site URL on to
10 friends within 5 days of receiving it. For your own sake, please do not
break the chain. Mike L. sent the email to 10 people and received a years
supply of free coffee beans. Chris L. deleted the email and was stabbed
on New Years Eve. Fortunately for Chris, when his cousin Jen heard the
news, she pulled the email out of the trash bin and forwarded it on to 20
friends and relatives. Chris made a quick recovery and was home from
the ER that night.
3. WebScent Beta was calibrated by Timber, Jonzee, and Penta. Those of
you who may be less "endowed" in the nasal department will have to wait
for the next upgrade.
2. WebScent cannot be delivered through wireless internet connections.
Make sure you have a hardwired connection to the internet. (Did you
know unauthorized use of a wireless connection is against the law?)
1. Are you sure you know what coffee smells like? Come in to Catahoula.
Buy a cup of the real thing. Take home. Place coffee next to computer
screen. Place nose over cup and inhale deeply to establish a true
"reference scent". Quickly triple-click the mouse and smell the screen.
Almost smells like the real thing, doesn't it?
Are you still having trouble smelling the fresh roasted coffee?
